Software Release Update: Version 4.0
We'd like to inform you that we are releasing an update to the Waizu Google Play applications. In parallel to the improvements to our web and infrastructure, Version 4.0 applications contain the following updates which will improve and enhance your experience.
Name of application: Managed Mobility
Version Number: 2.2
Changes: Support for Waizu for Bluetooth and BLE type devices (e.g. PROGLOVE and Zebra RS6100)

Name of application: Waizu Virtual Cabinet
Version Number: 2.2
Change : Improved scanning reliability (Zebra). Added a managed configuration option allowing the administrator to change how long the device inactivity pop-up is shown to users before the device logs off and is set to missing.

Name of application: Waizu Cockpit
Version Number: 2.0
Changes: New User Interface and User Experience. Enhanced capability on device user history, improved functionality of Waizu for Bluetooth. Ability to manage employees on the go directly in the Cockpit.

What actions should you now take?
To ensure seamless operation of Waizu software please follow these instructions:
- If you are running the previous version of the Waizu Cabinet Dashboard application on an Android based device – now called Waizu Cockpit – then this update will force the application to log you out. Please log back in to continue using this application by using the same log in credentials. The format of the login is Customer ID as the username followed by the same login password you use for the Waizu Web platform.
- If you are logging into the Waizu web console, the ‘configuration section’ accessed from the side menu has been redesigned to make it simpler to use. The process of adding employees may look different however the function is the same.

Maintenance Window
Monday 11th March 2024
There is a planned update to the Waizu software on Monday 11th March 2024 between 3PM and 3.30PM.
This is a cloud infrastructure change not an on-device application update and therefore the risk level is set to low.
This update has been rigorously tested and during this time it is very unlikely any customers will notice a change, however there is a small potential that devices may experience login issues during this window.
